Lisa-Marie (b. 1994) is a small town creative based in Somerset West, South Africa, with a deep love for artistic expression. Largely self-taught, she seeks to expand her frontiers on art and culture through exploring  various mediums, thought processes and life experiences. Her inspirations include music, animation—particularly the works of Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki—and nostalgic flights of fancy, which often serve as underlying themes in her artwork.  Drawing has always been her first love, providing her with an introduction to the world of art. In addition to drawing, she enjoys oil painting, printmaking, stop-motion animation, and engaging with progressive literature - anything that advances imaginative speculation.
